Poetry

These pages were set up as an aid to teaching friends how to write poetry that would win a contest in an online multiplayer roleplaying game called Nexus, Kingdom of the Winds. Since most of the poems that I use as examples (or show off, in the case of my own) relate in some way to Nexus, they might not make a whole lot of sense to the uninitiated. If you don't play Nexus, you won't know who the people are, what the situations are, or why any of this matters. If so, the best I can offer is to direct you to the Nexus Atlas, the biggest Nexus fan site, and to the game company's own site. Oh, and Worldwalker was my character in the game.

For those of you who came here from Nexus, welcome! I can't promise you Revel wins, but what you learn here should at least help point you in the right direction. Or, if you're just browsing, I hope you enjoy my poetry. Where else can you find poems about character sharing, Carnage, and my trusty old Bekyun's Spear?
