A few of us in Phoenix Clan had been posting poetry to the clan board, and we got to talking about it one night in the clan hall. I said I could write an impromptu poem on any topic, just pick one, and Yosen said "the sky". Ok, so I have a grim and bloodthirsty outlook. Remember, I'm the person who wrote a sonnet about my character's spear.

This is a very simple poem, structurally. It is iambic tetrameter, following an ABAB rhyme scheme. Each verse deals with a time of day - dawn, noon, evening, night. (or Chung Ryong, JuJak, Baekho, and Hyun Moo, for us Nexites) The last line is actually only a visual rhyme. "Wars" and "stars" don't really rhyme, they just look like they should. So sue me.
