Forsaken Light  |  The Dragon

Forsaken Light

When I die, I die alone
with no one to take my throne
where I die, I shall not say
but it won't be here, not today
how I die, will not be sad
for many riches have I had
why I die, is from my heart
it was broken from the start
who will cry upon that day
say not I and I will say
now my soul I shall set free
with no one here to mourn for me

The Dragon

You glide through the cave of the Dragon King
Relentless thin cold blade of steel
Prowling his shadow world still and dark
Consumed by the danger you feel

Jet black flat eye of the Mighty Wyrm
Suddenly burns with desire
The sky is alive like an animal
Lava pits burn frozen fire

Creatures creep through the haze of a dream
Dawn is a lifetime away
Avenger strikes like the jaws of a nightmare
Lost and forgotten by day

Dragonflame burns and turns crimson red
You turn to face his attack
Accept the caress of the Dragon King
Feel his love fade into black
